Each 6-week series costs $150, with participants being able to make-up missed sessions within 3 months in one of the other weekly classes offered.
Yoga therapy empowers individuals to incorporate evidence-backed practices into one’s lifestyle to enhance overall health and well-being. Yoga is not a one-size-fits all modality. Therefore, the yoga therapy model takes into consideration every aspect of a person’s life, rather than only looking at a single symptom or condition. Additionally, yogic philosophy recognizes that when we have discomfort in one aspect of our health (e.g. back pain), it will manifest in other areas of our lives as well (e.g. mood, breathing patterns, social interactions, etc.). For this reason, yoga therapy takes a holistic, individual-centered approach to addressing an individual’s needs at every level.
All private yoga therapy sessions begin with a 90-minute consultation. During this session, we will discuss your history and lifestyle, any relevant conditions, injuries, or symptoms you may be experiencing, and the reasons you are pursuing yoga therapy. Furthermore, the consultation typically includes a physical evaluation to determine where musculoskeletal imbalance may be present in your body. Additionally, we will assess your breathing pattern to see the impact it may be having on your physical, mental, and emotional levels. Lastly, taking all of this into account, we will develop specific and attainable goals.
Following the first session, I will provide you with a personalized plan of care. This is a home practice that you can do between sessions to help you achieve your goals.
Client responsibility: Yoga Therapy is not covered by insurance. All sessions are to be paid in cash or check. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so within 24-hours. Failure to do so may result in a 50% service charge.
