Client-first Approach
At DLeeArtsYoga™, Debra Wolfe offers a specialized approach to client care through Alignment-Based Yoga Therapy™. As a Certified Yoga Therapist, Debra takes a comprehensive approach combining traditional alignment-based yoga practices with evidence-backed methods and modern therapeutic techniques.
Her mission is to provide an accessible, personalized, and integrative approach towards wholeness that empowers individuals to achieve their optimal health and wellness. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, this work helps you refine your "inner alignment" so your body and mind can function with greater ease and grace.
Proprietary Protocol
This practice is anchored in a proprietary protocol synthesized from Debra's 24-years of integrative health and Alignment-based Yoga Therapy™ experience. This program organizes the client's goals into The Five Domains of Alignment™. These domains radiate outward from a central "Hub" of Mindful Awareness, organizing your well-being into a holistic Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual map to establish a baseline for your journey with DLeeArtsYoga™. See the description below.
This domain focuses on your physical body, stability, integrity, and structural precision. Recognizing the spine as the body's central axis, this domain emphasizes shifting away from forcing a "perfect" aesthetic posture and moving toward achieving true "functional alignment" based on an individual's needs. The goal is to actively stabilize core musculature and create joint decompression, which can resolve mechanical friction, promote musculoskeletal longevity, and create the internal space necessary for life force (Prana/Breathe) to flow. Practitioners can manage this domain daily using the offered Axial Reset micro-practice.
Centering on the body's internal systems, this domain governs nervous system regulation, breathing, and metabolic health. Strongly informed by Duke Integrative Science, it views the body as an interconnected biological ecosystem in which intentional movement and breath serve as clinical "medicine".
This domain is dedicated to cultivating your mental state, deep emotional resilience, mental clarity, and psychological flexibility. The primary objective is to use cognitive pauses to help you step back and manage your internal emotions.
Shifting the focus to external factors, this domain emphasizes vitality, sustainable daily habits, and environmental health. It examines how your external world—sleep, nutrition, and routines—impacts your goals.
Acting as the ultimate steering mechanism for your entire wellness wheel, this domain is fundamentally driven by your sense of purpose and community. It ensures that your wellness journey does not become an isolated endeavor by connecting you to your deeper, overarching values (Dharma) and a supportive network (Sangha). This meaningful connection is cultivated and managed daily through the Sangha Spark micro-practices we tend to.

As someone who has avoided yoga because of limitations with my back, I feel fortunate to have landed in a yoga class led by Debra Wolfe. From the first class, Debra has helped me feel safe and supported. With her expert guidance and genuine care, I am moving parts of my body that haven't moved comfortably in a long time. She pays close attention to every person in the class, making sure each of us feels comfortable and confident.

Stop making excuses for not taking a yoga class! Too heavy, too old, bum knee, sore shoulder, weak wrists, can’t move easily on the floor. None of these matter when Debra Wolfe is the instructor. She understands older bodies and conditions that make it difficult to get moving. And we all need to move more.

Debra's teaching has worked miracles with my flexibility. I came to her after a series of physical therapy sessions, and attending her classes has extended the benefits I realized through physical therapy.

I am 76 years old and have had years of yoga classes. Debra’s attention to correct body alignment in the yoga postures was a revelation. Her classes are small enough to get individual attention. She is a kind and wonderful person.

Debra's class is wonderful. I'm stronger and have more trust in my creaky, tight body than when I began. There are many different experience levels in her classes and she allows space for everyone to get involved at their own level.

Debra is an outstanding yoga instructor. She keeps her classes small to provide personal attention to everyone. Proper alignment and emphasis on safe and effective positions in poses is a hallmark of her teaching.
